One of the best things about working in the Chinese Coffee industry is that processing time is right in the middle of winter in the cities. Down on the border with Laos, the temperature stays warm and comfortable all year round. This is vital for growing coffee as it is destroyed by temperatures that are too low or too high. That is why the best coffee grows in the highlands around the equator where the temperature is comfortable and stable all year round.
These are some photos that I took around our processing facility in ManLao River, East of Pu’er and 30km from the Laos border.
